It’s a well-known fact---Rebounders love to eat. Just say, “Tail-Gate Party!” and these loyal Maryland Women’s Basketball fans come out in droves. Mention “Party Room at the Drury Inn” and yummy snacks appear out of nowhere. Announce “Dinner Provided by Kim Tuza” and the Rebounders line up.
The annual Rebounder Crab Feast at Mary Ruth and Pete Chapin’s is further proof that the Rebounders are culinary experts. This year at the third summertime event, crabs were eaten with gusto. Everyone brought a tasty side dish to share.
This delightful Rebounder tradition is a unique way for Maryland fans to gather and talk about our enthusiasm for the team, coaches, and recruits. It is all made possible by the generosity and hard work of Mary Ruth and Pete who set up a big tent and several tables decorated in red. Everyone knows that a lot of work goes into hosting this event. Thank you to the Chapin’s for adding to the uniqueness of the Rebounder organization.
